General Questions
What is Verulink?
Verulink is a secure, multi-signature cross-chain bridge connecting Ethereum and Aleo. It allows users to move assets between the two networks quickly and reliably.
What's new in Verulink?
This update introduces Private Bridging between Ethereum and Aleo and a new Auto Relayer for one-click transfers — faster, simpler, and fully automated.
Is Verulink safe to use?
Yes. Every transfer is verified by geo-distributed Attestors through a multi-signature network, removing single points of failure. Verulink is independently audited by Veridise and zkSecurity.
Using Verulink
How do I bridge assets from Ethereum to Aleo?
Lock your ETH, USDC, or USDT on Ethereum and enter your Aleo wallet address. Once verified by attestors, Verulink’s bridge contract mints wrapped tokens on Aleo and delivers them to your account.
How do I bridge assets from Aleo to Ethereum?
Burn your wrapped tokens on Aleo through Verulink’s bridge contract and specify your Ethereum wallet address. After verification, your original tokens are released automatically through the relayer or can be claimed manually.
What assets can I transfer using Verulink?
Currently, ETH, USDC, and USDT are supported, each represented as vETH, vUSDC, and vUSDT on Aleo.
Fees and Limits
What are the bridge fees?
Verulink applies a 0.1% fee for public transfers and a 0.15% fee for private transfers between Ethereum and Aleo.
What are the relayer fees?
The auto relayer adds a flat fee of $0.50 for public transfers and $0.75 for private transfers. A minimum bridge amount of around $5 is required to use the relayer.
Are there any bridge limits?
No. There are no limits on the amount you can bridge through Verulink.
Security and Compliance
How does Verulink keep transactions secure?
Each transfer is validated by multiple Attestors through a multi-sig consensus, with Predicate-based screening ensuring integrity and preventing fraud.
Is Verulink compliant with regulations?
Yes. Verulink adheres to ARC-100 and OFAC standards, ensuring lawful, transparent operations without compromising user privacy.
Who audits Verulink?
All bridge contracts are independently audited by Veridise and zkSecurity for safety and reliability.
Technical Details
What are Attestors?
Attestors are independent nodes that verify, sign, and relay transactions between Ethereum and Aleo. Transfers only execute when enough Attestors approve.
How are tokens wrapped and unwrapped?
When bridging to Aleo, tokens are locked on Ethereum and minted as wrapped versions on Aleo. When bridging back, wrapped tokens are burned, and the originals are released on Ethereum.
Future Developments
What's next for Verulink?
Verulink is expanding to Base and Arbitrum, integrating Paxos stablecoins, and continuing to advance private cross-chain infrastructure.
